Allison Cho, LPC
Starting therapy can be an uncomfortable and foreign process. If you’re from an environment that didn’t encourage talking about your feelings, it is probably especially awkward and foreign to you. But there should be no shame or embarrassment about therapy. Life will always challenge each one of us in a myriad of ways, and we all could use that extra support, source of comfort, and privileged space to talk freely.
In our busy lives, we can often suppress our thoughts and feelings in ways that feel convenient but can build up over time and become burdensome. I can help you recognize your triggers and sources of anxiety so you can better deal with the unique challenges that come your way while honoring yourself.
I am passionate about working with adults who are experiencing stressful life transitions, anxiety and depression, problems in all types of relationships, and cultural conflict that stems from the unique 1 st -2 nd generation immigrant experiences. Most prominently, my work will
focus on maintaining a strong relationship between you and me, to make your appointments a space where you feel safe to always be authentic. Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary in-person, phone, or video consultation.
