What to expect

Getting Started

At Encircle, we take pride in the relationships we build; therefore, all of your interactions with regards to your therapy will be communicated directly between you and your therapist.  After taking a look at the services we provide, and the therapist you think you would like to work with, you may contact the therapist directly by phone or email.  Or, you may book online directly with that therapist.  If you do not see a date or time you are looking for, please contact the therapist directly as they may have additional appointments that are not posted online.  Your therapist will ask for your email address and phone number in order to set you up with paperwork and appointment reminders.

Before We Meet

After setting up your initial session, your therapist will email you the Intake paperwork. Please print and complete the paperwork before your session. If you are not able to print the paperwork ahead of time, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session and complete the paperwork available in the waiting area. If you would like to use insurance, your therapist will ask you to verify your coverage beforehand. Navigating insurance can be confusing, especially since each person’s coverage differs from the next. We may also ask for your insurance information to help verify your coverage. This way, you will be aware of your financial obligations, which is usually a small co-pay. But, in some cases, there is a deductible to be met first. If you have questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to ask your therapist; we are happy to explain and walk you through this process.

Our First Meeting

At your first session, your therapist will go over your paperwork with you, and get to know you and your reason for referral. This is also a good time for you to ask questions about the process of how therapy works, and what to expect. Each person has different needs, so you and your therapist will explore what works best for you. You can also set up your next appointment with your therapist at the end of your first session.
