We are all on our own unique path in life and while we traverse our path, we will inevitably face obstacles that stand in the way of accomplishing our dreams. My role is to be your guide on your individual journey and walk beside you offering support, empathy, validation, and insight that you can use to grow and move forward with confidence. Our biggest focus will always be your safety as we explore the challenges you are facing on your journey.
My path has led me to become a Therapist in Training pursuing my Masters in Clinical Counseling at the Family Institute at Northwestern University. My clinical approach is Trauma-Informed and integrative, emphasizing Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Feminist counseling theories. My focus is empowering young adults and adults of all identities to develop skills and strengths in managing their mental health and the ability to advocate for their own needs and the needs of their communities.
I have a passion for working with young adults, and adults across the lifespan experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, LGBTQ2IA+ specific hurdles, and other mental health challenges. During our sessions, you will have autonomy over your treatment and the power to direct your healing journey in collaboration with a trained professional. My approach is built on trust, curiosity, and courage. We will always aim for what is suitable for you as an individual, no matter what shape that takes. I’m glad that you’re here and I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you! Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary in-person, phone, or video consultation.
